Mía Lourdes Taveras López (born July 4 1986 in Santiago de los Caballeros) is a Dominican beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Dominican Republic 2006. She competed in the Miss Universe 2006 beauty pageant in Los Angeles California on July 23 2006.Taveras represented the Santiago province during the national pageant which took place on December 18 2005.
