The Lyon metro (French: Métro de Lyon) is the metro system for Lyon France. It first opened in 1978 (although the metro’s current Line C opened independently earlier in 1974). The Lyon metro currently consists of four lines serving 39 lines (43 stations counting transfer stations twice) and comprising 30.3 kilometres (18.8 mi) of route.
