Lucien Dunbidden Gardner (born 1876) was a chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court from 1940 to 1951.Gardner was an alumnus of Troy State University and the University of Alabama.His son Lucien D. Gardner Jr. also became a lawyer. Gardner was a baptist.
