The lower subscapular nerve (alternatively inferior subscapular nerve) is a nerve that supplies the lower part of the subscapularis muscle and also supplies the teres major muscle.It consists of fibres from C5-6 spinal nerves. It branches from the posterior cord of the brachial plexus. Teres major is sometimes supplied by a separate branch.
