Lloyd Piper (1923 – 1983) was an Australian cartoonist and art teacher best known as the third artist to take on the iconic Australian comic strip Ginger Meggs which he drew from 1973 until his death in 1983.Lloyd William Piper was born on 31 October 1923 in Cassilis New South Wales to Thomas William Piper and Alice Mabel née Byfield. He grew up in rural New South Wales during the Great Depression.
