Liv Grete Skjelbreid Poirée (born 7 July 1974) from Hålandsdal Fusa near the city of Bergen in western Norway is a former career biathlete. 167 cm (5 ft 6 in) 61 kg (134 lb; 9 st 8 lb). On 20 March 2006 Poirée announced her retirement effective at the end of the season which ended on 26 March at the Holmenkollen. She said she was retiring because of her young daughter Emma her family and that she did not have the motivation to continue.
