The following is a list of characters who first appear in the fifth series of the BBC school drama Waterloo Road in order of first appearance. The fifth series consists of twenty episodes first broadcast from 25 October 2009 to 15 July 2010. The series sees Waterloo Road merge with a local private school and all new characters in the series’ first episode arrive as a result of this merger.
