Line 3 of the Dalian Metro (Chinese: 大连地铁三号线; pinyin: Dàlián Dìtiě Sān Hào Xiàn) locally known as Kuaigui 3 (rapid transit line 3) a rapid transit line running from southwest to northwest Dalian. It is was open on the 8 November 2002 . This line is currently 49.15 km long with 12 stations. The northern area of the city where the Economic and Technology Development Zone is located is not well-served by buses.
