Line 1 also referred to as Jacob Circle-Wadala-Chembur line/corridor of the Mumbai Monorail is part of the monorail system for the city of Mumbai. It will connect Jacob Circle in South Mumbai with Chembur in eastern Mumbai. It will be built at a cost of approximately 3000 crore (US$500 million). The 20.21 km line is fully elevated. Line 1 is owned and operated by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).
