The Libyan Popular National Movement (Arabic: الحركة الوطنية الشعبية الليبية‎) is a political movement established by former Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya officials on 15 February 2012. Its Secretary General is Major General Khuwaildi al-Hamidi a former member of the Libyan Revolutionary Command Council whose daughter is married to Al-Saadi Gaddafi. The Movement was forbidden to participate in the 2012 election.
