Li Na (born February 26 1982) is a Chinese professional tennis player who is currently ranked world No. 2 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). To date Li has won nine WTA singles titles including two grand slam singles titles at the 2011 French Open and 2014 Australian Open. Li’s victory at the former event made her the first and only grand slam singles champion from an Asian country.
