LH54-425 is a pair of large blue stars that lie in the Large Magellanic Cloud. The main star (spectral type O3) is one of the hottest known while the secondary star is a main sequence O6 star. Both are expected to expand into red supergiants and end their lives in Supernova explosions within a few million years.
