Levonordefrin (Nordefrin Neo-Cobefrin) also known as α-methylnorepinephrine (α-Me-NE) is a sympathomimetic amine used as a topical nasal decongestant and vasoconstrictor in dentistry. It is also a metabolite of the antihypertensive drug methyldopa and plays a crucial role in its pharmacology and therapeutic benefits.
