Leslie Owen (1886–1947) was an Anglican bishop. Owen was educated at Merchant Taylors’ School Northwood and St John’s College Cambridge. He was ordained in 1912 and was firstly a curate at Ashford Kent after which he became a chaplain to the British Armed Forces during the First World War. When peace returned he was a lecturer at Bishop’s College Cheshunt and then Warden of the Scholar Cancellarii Lincoln.
