The Leonardo Plaza Hotel Jerusalem is a luxury hotel located in central Jerusalem on King George Street. The Leonardo Plaza Hotel Jerusalem was built in 1968 as the Jerusalem Plaza Hotel. The Architect of the 22 story Jerusalem stone-clad tower was Mordechai Ben-Horin. It has approximately 270 rooms and 2 restaurants. It was operated by Canadian Pacific Hotels in the 1970s and by Sheraton Hotels from the early 1990s until 2008 when it was known as the Sheraton Jerusalem Plaza.
