Leo Podgorski was a boxer who was the Chicago Golden Gloves Novice Division 112 lb. Champ in 1973. In 1975 he won the Chicago Park District 126 lb. Open Division Title. Final Amateur Record 43 – 42. Podgorski died in 2009.He was the older brother of Stan Podgorski amateur and professional boxer. He was the younger brother of Pete Podgorski also an amateur and professional boxer as well as a professional judge and referee.
