Lenentine is a Huguenot surname. Some of the family emigrated from France to the United States. There is a strong population in Houlton Maine where there is a Lenentine reunion every summer on Labor Day weekend at Monticello Grange Hall. There is also a reunion for a more Canadian version of the family in Connecticut.
