The Lehigh Valley Phantoms will be a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL) who will begin play in the 2014–15 AHL season when the Adirondack Phantoms move from Glens Falls New York to Allentown Pennsylvania. The team will play in Allentown’s new PPL Center. The Phantoms who began play as the Philadelphia Phantoms are the top minor league affiliate for the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers].In March 2011 plans were announced for the PPL Center.
