The Left Front (French: Front de gauche FG or FDG) is a French electoral coalition created for the 2009 European elections by the French Communist Party and the Left Party which was formed when a left-wing minority faction decided to leave the Socialist Party and the Unitarian Left (Gauche Unitaire) a group which left the New Anticapitalist Party.
