The Right Rev Lawrence Edward Luscombe (born 10 November. 1924) is an eminent Anglican priest and author.He was educated at Torquay Boys’ Grammar School King’s College London and Kelham Theological College served in the Indian Army 1942-47 reaching the rank of Major became a Chartered Accountant in 1952 and worked as an accountant until 1963 when he was ordained. His ecclesiastical career began as a Curate at St Margaret’s Glasgow after which he was Rector of St Barnabas’ Paisley.
