Larissa (/ləˈrɪsə/ lə-RISS-ə; Greek: Λάρισα) also known as Neptune VII is the fifth-closest inner satellite of Neptune. It is named after Larissa a lover of Poseidon (Neptune) in Greek mythology and eponymous nymph of the city in Thessaly Greece.
