Lance Smart is a fictional character from the Australian Channel Seven soap opera Home and Away played by Peter Vroom. Vroom appeared from the pilot episode as one of the serial’s original characters. Vroom later decided to leave and finished filming in March 1990; his final episode aired on 11 April. Vroom later returned in 2000 on a guest contract.
