Lamma Power Station (Chinese: 南丫發電廠) informally known as Lamma Island Power Station is a coal and gas-fired power station in Po Lo Tsui Lamma Island Islands District Hong Kong China. With the installed capacity of 3736 MW the power station is the second largest coal-fired power station after Castle Peak Power Station.Built in 1982 (with several later additions) for Hongkong Electric the station provides power to Hong Kong Island and Lamma Island.
