Léon Aimé Taverde F.M.C (July 17 1923 – August 8 2013) was a French Prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. Taverde was born in Avanne France and ordained a priest on September 25 1955. He was appointed bishop to the Diocese of Langres on October 14 1981 and ordained bishop November 29 1981. He retired on December 16 1999 as bishop of the Langres Diocese. He died August 8 2013.
