Kyle Cheney (born 25 August 1989) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Taken by the Melbourne Demons with the 53rd selection in the 2007 AFL National Draft Cheney plays as a medium defender. He was recruited from North Ballarat finishing second in their 2007 best and fairest count. Cheney debuted in the first round of the 2009 season.Cheney was traded to Hawthorn in 2010 for a third round draft pick.
