Kurt Damian Engelhardt (born 1960) is a United States federal judge.Born in New Orleans Louisiana Engelhardt received a B.A. from Louisiana State University in 1982 and a J.D. from Louisiana State University Law Center in 1985. He was a law clerk to the Hon. Charles Grisbaum of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals from 1985 to 1987. He was in private practice in Louisiana from then until 2001. On September 4 2001 Engelhardt was nominated by President George W.
