The Konkan Railway (Railway Symbol:KR) is a railway line which runs along the Konkan coast of India. It was constructed and is operated by the Konkan Railway Corporation. It runs from Thokur near Mangalore in Karnataka to Kolad in Maharashtra through Goa for a total distance of 723 km (449 mi) along the west coast of India and Western Ghats.
