Khamyang or Nora (Norra) is a moribund Tai language spoken in the Buri Dihing Valley of Assam India.There are currently only about fifty Khamyang speakers left living in a single village. The village is known as Pawaimukh in Khamti and is located seven miles downstream of Margherita in Tinsukia district. The autonym is maan3 paa1 waai6 which means ‘Village of the Pawai River.Glottolog does not consider Norra to be a distinct language or dialect.[1]
