According to mythology keyur (originally Sanskrit) is a golden jewellery worn by Krishna on his hand (armlet) between shoulder and elbow (biceps). However if you change the spelling of keyur in Sanskrit from Dirgh u to Rasv u its meaning changes to peacock which is a synonym for Mayur.Keyur is also a commonly used first name for males in the western part of India.
