Kenzo Shirai (白井 健三 Shirai Kenzō born 24 August 1996 in Yokohama Japan) is a Japanese artistic gymnast. He won a gold medal at the 2013 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships on the floor exercise. He is the first gymnast ever to successfully attempt a quadruple twist on the apparatus. He was just 14 years old when he learnt his famous quad twist on floor. In October he competed in the World artistic gymnastic championship at just 17. He made both floor and vault final.
