Keith Gave is a former sports reporter for the Detroit Free Press and Dallas Morning News reporter.He is well known for questioning the legality of the Dallas Stars’ game-winning goal in the 1999 Stanley Cup Finals. Gave noted that Brett Hull’s skate was in the crease when he scored the goal which was illegal in the National Hockey League at the time.
