Keith Eyre Carter (August 30 1924 – May 3 2013) was an American competition swimmer and is an Olympic silver medalist. At the 1948 Summer Olympics in London England Carter received a silver medal for his second-place performance in the men’s 200-meter breaststroke finishing behind compatriot Joe Verdeur. He also competed in the men’s 100-meter freestyle finishing fourth in the event final.
