Kaze no Daichi (風の大地 Windy Plains) is an ongoing golf manga written by Nobuhiro Sakata (author of Dan Doh!!) and illustrated by Eiji Kazama. It has been published by Shogakukan in Big Comic Original since 1991 and collected in 60 tankōbon volumes as of 2013. It received the 1993 Shogakukan Manga Award for general manga.The series is the story of Keisuke Okita who takes up golf at the age of 24 and through talent hard work and good coaching quickly turns pro.
