Katya Zharkova (Russian pronunciation: [‘katja zar‘kova]; born 30 October 1981) is a top Russian plus-size model actress TV show host and TV producer based in the United States. She became an international social media sensation because of the editorial Plus Size Bodies What’s Wrong with Them Anyway? published in “PLUS Model” Magazine in January 2011. The controversial editorial was supported by images shot by photographer Victoria Janashvili and conceptualized by Katya herself.
