Kathryn Hoefer Vratil (born 1949) is a senior United States federal judge.Born in Manhattan Kansas Vratil received a B.A. from the University of Kansas in 1971 and a J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1975. She was a law clerk to the Hon. Earl E. O’Connor U.S. District Court District of Kansas from 1975 to 1978. She was in private practice in Kansas City Kansas from 1978 to 1992.
