Kaito Kuroba (Japanese: 黒羽 快斗 Hepburn: Kuroba Kaito) the true identity under his alias Phantom Thief Kid (怪盗キッド Kaitō Kid) is a fictional character created by Gosho Aoyama for the Magic Kaito series. When Case Closed was localized Funimation Entertainment referred to him as Phantom Thief Kid while Viz Media used the rōmaji Kaito Kid. His father Toichi Kuroba was the original Phantom Thief Kid and was killed by an unknown organization.
