The Kabataş-Taksim Funicular or (Turkish: F1 Taksim – Kabataş Füniküler Hattı) is a two-station underground railway line in Istanbul Turkey. The funicular connects the hubs at Taksim Square and Kabataş Istanbul.Opened on June 29 2006 the funiclar is operated by İstanbul Ulaşım company a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. The ride on the 594 m (1949 ft) line takes 2.5 minutes. The daily ridership is 30000 passengers between the operating hours from 6:15 to 0:00.
