Juan José Madrigal Pacheco (born March 8 1974 in Alajuela) is a retired Costa Rican swimmer who specialized in breaststroke events. He is a two-time Olympian (1996 and 2000) and a Costa Rican record holder in the 50100 and 200 m breaststroke (long course and short course).Madrigal made his official debut at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta where he competed only in the 100 m breaststroke.
