The JRA Cup is a MVRC Group 3 Australian Thoroughbred horse race held under open handicap conditions for horses aged three years old and upwards over a distance of 2040 metres. It is held annually at Moonee Valley Racecourse in Melbourne in September. The total prize money is A$201500.
