Joshua Joseph Thomson (born September 21 1978) is an American mixed martial artist who currently competes in the UFC’s lightweight division. He has fought in Pride the UFC Strikeforce and the World Fighting Alliance. Thomson is a former Strikeforce World Lightweight Champion. He trains with American Kickboxing Academy. As of January 17 2014 he is #4 in official UFC lightweight rankings.
