Jorge Luis Patino (born May 8 1973) is a Brazilian mixed martial artist. His style is focused around his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills. He is best remembered for his two epic vale tudo fights with Jose Pele Landi-Jons. Although he lost both fights the pace and brutality of the fights gained both fighters fans around the world. Patino is nicknamed Macaco (Portuguese for monkey). He has a notable win over Ronaldo Souza at Souza’s vale tudo debut.
