Jonathan Clancy (born 12 March 1986) is an Irish hurler who played in a variety of positions but mostly at midfield for the Clare senior team.Born in Clarecastle County Clare Clancy first excelled at hurling whilst at school at St. Flannan’s College. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Clare minor team before later joining the under-21 side. He made his senior debut in the 2005 championship.
