John Wright Hazelton (December 10 1814 Mullica Hill New Jersey – December 20 1878 Mullica Hill) was an American Republican Party politician who served in the United States House of Representatives where he represented New Jersey’s 1st congressional district from 1871–1875.Hazelton was born in Mullica Hill New Jersey (within Harrison Township) on December 10 1814. He attended the common schools and engaged in agricultural pursuits.
