John Sheepshanks was an English Anglican Bishop in the last decade of the 19th century and the first one of the 20th.Born in 1834 he was educated at Christ’s College Cambridge. Ordained in 1857 he was a Curate at Leeds Parish Church and later Rector of New Westminster and Chaplain to George Hills the Bishop of Columbia.
