Cartmell John Alexander Rettie (born November 24 1925 in Colombo Ceylon) known as John Rettie was a British newspaper journalist and broadcaster. While working for Reuters in the Soviet capital Moscow in 1956 he brought back details of Nikita Khrushchev’s Secret Speech to the Kremlin denouncing the crimes of Stalin.
