Sir John Perrot (7–11 November 1528 – 3 November 1592) served as Lord Deputy of Ireland under Queen Elizabeth I of England during the Tudor conquest of Ireland. He is alleged to have been the son of King Henry VIII in an account written by Sir Robert Naunton who had married Sir John’s granddaughter Penelope.
