John O’Brien (born 3 January 1982) is an Irish hurler who currently plays as a wing forward for the Tipperary senior team.O’Brien made his first appearance for the team during the 2001 National League and became a regular member of the starting fifteen over subsequent seasons. Since then he has won one All-Ireland winners’ medals five Munster winners’ medals and one National Hurling League winners’ medal.
