John Clifford Moffet (born July 27 1964) is an American former competition swimmer who competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles California. At the 1984 Olympics he finished fifth in the final of the men’s 100-meter breaststroke event. He had his best year in 1985 winning three gold medals at both the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships and the Summer Universiade.Moffet is a three-time Primetime Emmy Award winner for The Amazing Race.
