John Kerins (19 July 1962 – 21 August 2001) was an Irish sportsperson. He played Gaelic football with his local club St. Finbarr’s and was a member of the Cork senior inter-county team from 1984 until 1994. Kerins was an integral part of the Cork team that enjoyed much success during this period he himself winning six Munster titles two All-Ireland titles and two All Stars at senior level.Kerins died in 2001 at the age of 39 after battling cancer.
