John James Jenkins (August 24 1843 – June 8 1911) was a U.S. Representative from Wisconsin.Born in Weymouth England Jenkins emigrated with his parents to the United States in 1852 where they settled in Baraboo Wisconsin. During the American Civil War Jenkins served as a private with the 6th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment. After the war Jenkins became clerk of the Sauk County circuit court from 1867 to 1870.
